i have a problem whit my new nikon coolpix p80,the pictures?

i have a problem whit my new camera nikon coolpix p80,the pictures doesn’t look right ,actually they look awfull.i have selected image quality to ‘fine’ and made pictures also in auto mode and in manual mode in different sizes.I have uploaded some picture.Is it my camera broken or is a setting i didn’t make right ? http://www.postimage.org/image.php?v=aVEGpi http://www.postimage.org/image.php?v=TsTxu9S

I can see a few problems from your shots

1) you are not setting the white balance to match the light you are using.
2) the ISO is on “auto”, so it jumps to a high ISO under low light conditions.

* match the white balance with the lighting
* set the ISO on your camera to 100

You may have to support the camera to avoid camera movement during long exposures

Although P&S cameras pick all the exposures for you, if you really want the best photos, you will need to know a few basic ways a camera actually works.
